As a Sr. Sleep Technologist, you will perform, score and evaluate overnight polysomnograms (PSGs) and Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLTs) with a focus on patient safety. You will be responsible for calibrating equipment, performing bio-calibration, monitoring laboratory equipment, and observing patients while they sleep. You will be called on to make important decisions on initiating Bi/CPAP titration or other appropriate treatments. You may also need to occasionally work days to perform MSLTs, infant and pediatric recordings, scoring of records and daytime studies. The position requires working weekends at our Westwood or Santa Monica Hospitals.
We’re looking for a flexible, dedicated and compassionate individual with:
- California Polysomnographic Technologist license
- Previous polysomnography experience
- Experience with sleep recording instrumentation and scoring techniques
- RPSGT and CPR certification
- Proven ability to score 30 second epochs
- Computer proficiency
- Comfort working with clinical research populations
- Ability to work nights/days as necessary
