The Physician Assistant delivers primary health care to adults by assessing physical and psychosocial conditions, such as acute or chronic illness or injuries, and providing medical consultation and treatment under physician supervision. PA practice is per California Physician Assistant regulations and the delegation of service agreement between PA(s) and the supervising physician(s).
Qualifications
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education, including Licensure / Certification / Registration
- Current CA Physician Assistant license required
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) required
- Current DEA License required
- National certification required
- CAPA Controlled Substance Certification preferred
- ACLS preferred
Experience
- 6 months related clinical experience preferred
