Sleep Clinic Supervisor

Salary Range: Commensurate with Experience
The Sleep Clinic Supervisor will support Sleep technician staff in the provision of patient care and contribute to an environment that advances the practice of sleep medicine, UCSD programs and services. Competency in all technician duties is expected of supervisor. Support is focused at ensuring resources are available, that care assignments are appropriate, and that technicians are competent. Serves to assist and advise the core staff as needed regarding patient care procedures and techniques.

Qualifications and Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Medical Board of California Licensure for Polysomongraphic Technologist.
• RPSGT or RST.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
• Three (3+) or more years of sleep experience.
• Experience and proven success in skills to effectively supervise patient care support staff.
• Strong knowledge of practice operations.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
• Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
• Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
